At Andrew Simpson Art, I am passionate about art and creating that something special, unique and bespoke. A unique piece for the fine art collector. I undertake commissions of subjects such as landscape, seascape, wildlife and working dogs. Also people, portraiture. My chosen mediums are oil on canvas, pen and ink and pencil sketches through to drawings. My rates are £55.00 an hour. Pencil sketches usually take about 1 hour to 2 hours. Pen and inks take roughly 3 to 4 hours for completion. A unique oil painting can take from 35 hours up to 180 hours depending on individual requests and the complexity of the subject being commissioned. Most unique oil painting commissions are around the 70 hour period, though some are less and some take considerably longer. So most pieces on average can take roughly two weeks at £3850.
